| • Shani/Śani — Saturn（土星） |
| Shani refers to the planet Saturn and is depicted as a male deity in the Puranas. Also known as Ara, Kona or Kroda, he is said to be the son of Surya (Sun) and Chaya (Shadow) according to Hindu literature. Shani, or Saturn, is one of the strongest planets in Indian astrology. Among the Navagrahas, he is considered to bestow the most riches as well as cause the most trouble, based on his position in the sky. |
| According to an ancient story, since childhood Lord Shani was a keen devotee of Lord Krishna. One day, his wife came to him but Shanideva was so absorbed in the deep thoughts of his deity that he didn’t even care to glance at his wife. His wife got upset and cursed him, “You won’t be able to look at some one in future. Whoever you look at, would be ruined.” When she overcame her rage, she repented a lot, but the curse could not be get undone. |
| He is considered inauspicious, a deity who gets mad easily and one who takes thorough revenge for whatever made him upset. As per Hindu beliefs, Shani gives a person the result of one’s Karma during his/her own life time through appropriate punishments and rewards. In astrology, Shani’s influence is usually malefic-煞星, though it can also lead to spiritual and mystical heights. |
| Saturn (Shani) is the planet of lessons. It is closely related to the karma we may encounter in a given lifetime. It also stands as a gatekeeper to some of the higher vibrations to which we aspire though spiritual development. |
| By offering salutations outwardly, one clears certain internal obstructing energy patterns. But Saturn has received an overly negative reputation from some astrologers. There have been circumstances where very positive things manifested in people's lives unexpectedly, apparently as a direct result of working with this mantra. Internally, Saturn energy is predominant in the spleen, knees and skeletal system. |
| However, as Saturn moves through the various astrological signs, it 'triggers' karma we may have stored under astrological configurations found in that sign. Therefore, the use of the Saturn mantra can mitigate and even clear certain categories of karma which appear in our lives. This mantra has been used with great success personally. |

- Shani Dosha Shani dosha occurs in the natal chart when Shani is in the wrong position, or if it is weak in the horoscope. According to Vedic astrology, Shani dosha occurs when a person had a bad karma in his previous birth. When a person’s birth chart has Shani Dosha, he/she will undergo a lot of struggles. |

- Benefits: Lord Shani is generally propitiated on Saturdays by offering Yagna and chanting different mantras. Shani mantras are recited to get relief from ill effects of Lord Shani. With Shani’s blessing the limitations of the mind and body are confronted and renovated by persistence and patience. |

| 按照印度吠陀占星术 (Jyotisha or Vedic astrology) 的说法，当“土星”在天空中移动，进入各个星座时，他可能会“触发”我们在该星座中所储存的“业力”。这种由于行星所处的位置而导致某个人的命运受到负面、甚至灾难性影响的情况，在印度被称为 “Dosha”，土星所产生的 “Shani Dosha” 是所有行星中最强大的。另一个会产生 “Dosha” 行星是“火星”，相应地被称为 “Mangal Dosha”。 |

| “Shani Dosha” 不仅仅会发生在某个人身上，可能也会对全体人类产生不利影响，因为人类几代人的自私自利已经积累了太多的“恶业”（这被佛家称为是 “共业”）。公元 2019—2020年，土星正好运行到“人马座”（俗称“射手座”，从地球上看过去，银河系的核心正好位于这个星座，可以说这个星座储存了最多的坏业力）之时，恰逢其他几大行星（如木星、天王星等等）也运行到附近，从而“触发”了全球范围内的大灾难——“新冠疫情”。由“疫情”进而引发了其他一系列的全球性灾难，由此开启了新一轮世界性的“动荡时期”。由于土星运行一周需要 30年，这个“动荡时期”至少要持续到 21世纪 50年代。生活在这个世界上的每个人，都不可能置身事外而不受影响。 |
| 因此，在这样的一个“动荡时期”，念诵“土星咒语”就显得非常重要且必要。长期坚持念诵，可以减轻甚至清除我们生活中可能出现的某些坏业力。尽管占星家对土星的评价比较负面，但在某些情况下，人们的生活中意外地出现了非常积极的事情，这显然是使用“土星咒语”的直接结果。此外，念诵“土星咒语”对我们的身体健康也大有裨益，因为在人体内，土星的能量在脾脏、膝盖和骨骼系统中占据主导地位。通过向土星敬礼，可以消除我们体内某些阻碍能量流通的模式。 |
