    Chakras are various centres of energy that are mainly located on the midline of the body. In total there are about 7 chakras and each has its own special characteristics and importance. They govern our psychological properties. Usually the chakras located on the lower part of our body are considered to be our instinctual side and the highest ones are our mental side. These chakras have various levels of activities and they are considered to be functional when they are 'open'. In an ideal situation all the chakras contribute to our wellbeing. Our instincts usually work together with our feelings and thinking. But there are times when our chakras are not open and thus not fully functional. Some chakras are not open properly and thus not active and to compensate it other chakras are over active. In an ideal situation all the chakras should be perfectly balanced.
    There are a lot of techniques that are available to balance the chakras and many of them are used frequently. As mentioned earlier there are some chakras which are overactive and hence there is no point in trying to make them less active as they are compensating other chakras that are not yet open. Thus the focus should be to open the inactive chakras. Usually one has to perform the chakra meditation which uses the mudras and sounds to open the chakras. In this practice they use special hand positions or mudras to open the chakras. These mudras have special power to send more energy to particular chakras. To make the process more effective sometimes sounds are chanted. These sounds are usually taken from the Sanskrit letters. When these sounds are being chanted they cause a resonation in your body that you can feel at the chakra they are meant for. The best way to open the chakras is from the lower chakras and then slowly moves upwards.
    There are about 7 chakras and a brief introduction of all the seven is as follows:
1. Muladhara Chakra (Root Chakra)
    The root chakra gives you a feeling that you are physically present at a place while at the same time feeling at home in situations. In situations when it is open you feel that you are grounded, stable and secure. You seldom distrust people and you feel a sense of being in the present and also a strong sense of connection to your physical body. You will feel that you have enough territory of your own. In case this chakra is inactive you will feel nervous and fearful. In case this is over active you will feel materialistic and greedy.
2. Swadhisthana Chakra (Sacral Chakra)
    This chakra is about feeling and sexuality. When this chakra is open you feel a free flow of energy and feelings. You can express yourself without being over - emotional. You are also comfortable being intimate, passionate and lively. You will find it quite easy to deal with your sexuality. In circumstances this chakra is inactive you will be stiff and unemotional. You will not be very open to people. When this chakra is over active you will be emotional all the time. You can feel very sexual and emotionally attached to people around you.
3. Manipura Chakra (Navel Chakra)
    This chakra helps you make yourself assertive in a group. When this chakra opens you feel that you are in control and will also experience high self-esteem. At times when this chakra is under active you will become passive and indecisive and will also be very timid and will not be able to get what you want. During times when this chakra is over active you will be very domineering and even aggressive.
4. Anahata Chakra (Heart Chakra)
    This is the fourth chakra and it is all about love, kindness and affection. When this chakra is open you will become kind, compassionate and friendly and all your relationships will be harmonious. When this chakra is under active you will become cold and distant and when this is over active you will suffocate people with your love and might even have selfish reasons behind your love.
5. Vishuddhi Chakra (Throat Chakra)
    This is the fifth chakra and it is all about self-expression and talking. It helps you express your feelings and talk freely. When this chakra is properly open you will have no problems expressing yourself and you will do all this in a very artistic way as well. In case of this chakra being underactive you won't be able to speak much and will probably have an introverted and shy personality. In cases when this chakra is over active you will speak a lot and this will usually be done to keep people at a distance and dominate them. You will also become a bad listener and will stress only on talking and talking but not listening.
6. Ajña Chakra (Third Eye Chakra)
    This is the 6th chakra and is all about insight and visualization. When this chakra is open it will help you have a good intuition and will give you the powers to fantasize. In case this chakra is under active you will lose your power of thinking and won't be very good at it. You will rely a lot on authorities. You will have rigid thoughts and will be too much inclined to beliefs. It might even lead to a lot of confusion. In case when this chakra is over active you will live in a world of fantasy. In extreme cases you might even hallucinate.
7. Sahasrara Chakra (Crown Chakra)
    This is the 7th and the final chakra and is all about wisdom and being one with the world. In case this chakra is open you will become unprejudiced and quite aware of the world and yourself. In case this chakra is under active you will lose awareness about your spirituality and will also become quite rigid in your thinking. In case this chakra is over active then you will be intellectualizing things too much. It will also make you addicted to spirituality and will make you ignore all your bodily needs and you are too hooked to all spiritual things.

• 【 脉轮功能、以及疗愈练习方法简介 】
    “脉轮系统”是瑜伽理论中用来描述人体中能量分布的一个系统,或者说,它就是人体的能量地图(包括物理性、精神性的所有能量)。脉轮 (Chakra) 是能量中心或者能量的旋涡,它们以动态能量的形式存在。上面已经介绍过,人体中有 7个最重要的脉轮,它们沿着脊椎骨从下至上排列;每个脉轮都有相对固定的位置,并与相应区域的器官、腺体和神经系统相关联。因此,每个脉轮都有特殊的生理和精神性功能和特征,它们对于我们的生理和心理健康非常重要。👇下图是 7大脉轮👇在人体内所在位置的示意图。需要说明的是,各大脉轮标注的颜色与印度瑜伽理论的说法并不相符,仅仅是作为示意。

脉轮与能量通道 (Chakras and Nadis)
    脉轮 (Chakras) 只是能量中心,但能量是动态的,可以在各个脉轮之间、乃至全身进行流动,这些能量流动的通道在瑜伽理论中被称为是 “Nādī (Nadi)”。据说,人体中有数万条 “Nadis”,其中最重要的有 108条,这就是所有咒语至少要念诵 108遍的理论依据。对于上述 7大脉轮,最重要的是 3条 “Nadis”,它们是:中央主通道(主脉、中脉),右侧的太阳通道(右脉、红脉),左侧的月亮通道(左脉、白脉)。👆如上图所示👆,它们从底部的“根轮”(或第二轮)分岔、向上,到头部汇合,同时连接了这 7大脉轮。“声音”(Nāda,声音即振动,振动即能量)在这些 “Nadis” 中流动,特定的“声音”可以激发特定的脉轮(如各大脉轮的“种子音”),再结合特定的手势(手印),就可以达到对各大脉轮进行疗愈的效果。下面对各大脉轮的功能、特点,以及疗愈练习的方法做一个简要的说明。

☸  第一轮:Mūlādhāra / Root Chakra(根轮、海底轮)
-  词源:Mūla = root, origin, essence (根);  Ādhāra = basis, foundation (基础).
    Mūlādhāra — The support of all the Chakras. The fountainhead of evolutionary energy: Kundalinī Shakti (spiritual energy). Kundalinī awakening begins here. It is also the seat of the "red bindu" or subtle drop, which rises up to the "white bindu" in the head to unite the female and masculine energies, or Shakti - Shiva.

  1.  Gyana Mudra — “智慧手印”:
    这是瑜伽冥想时最常用的手印,可以促进生命活力,缓解忧郁、焦虑、愤怒等不良情绪。结法:手心朝上,食指与大拇指指尖相触,其他三指伸直。练习时,也可以手心向下,这时称为“秦手印”或“下巴式”,可以帮助打开胸部区域,横膈膜向上提起,提升精神能量,情绪低落时尤其有益。
 
  2.  Prithivi Mudra — “地手印”:
    此手印用以增强支撑、平衡和忍耐力,帮助平衡体内“地”(土)元素(如:腿部、骨骼系统等)。结法:手心朝上,无名指与大拇指指尖相触,其他三指伸直。
 

☸  第二轮:Svādhiṣṭhāna / Sacral Chakra(腹轮、本我轮、生殖轮)
-  词源:Sva = Self (自我);   Adhishthāna = seat, residence (住所).
    Svādhiṣṭhāna — One’s own abode; the seat of intellect (buddhi). — 自我的住所,智力之源,故又被称为“本我轮”。

    这是一个非常经典的冥想手印。在结此印时,要将两只手放在膝上,掌心向上,手指伸开。两个拇指指尖通常相触,这代表红白(左右)两大主脉在拇指处连接,使得生命能量从手部传送到中央主脉,有助于提升身心活力(男:右手在上可提升男性能量;女:左手在上可提升女性能量)。
 
  4.  Venus Lock Mudra — “维纳斯扣印”、“双手扣印”:
    此手印用于引导并调节性能量,平衡腺体系统;有助于集中注意力,保持专注(注:此手印非常适合用于念诵复杂的咒语)。结法:双手交叉(男性,左手在下;女性,右手在下),手腕相距 5~8 cm,大拇指交叉,或者平行并压在最上面的食指中节上。
 
  5.  Varuna Mudra — “水手印”:
    此手印可以缓解缺水(脱水)相关疾病(包括皮肤干燥等),帮助平衡体内“水”元素(如:腺体、循环系统等)。结法:手心朝上,小拇指与大拇指指尖相触,其他三指伸直。

-  词源:Viśuddha — The seat of Ākāśa (Akasha, ether/space); Known as the purification center; Guilty feeling is the most prominent reason for this chakra to block the Kundalini Energy moving upwards.

-  词源:Ājña [or Aagya] — “command or summoning” (命令或召唤); Ajña (慧眼) translates as 'command' and is considered as the eye of intuition (直觉) and intellect. When something is seen in the mind's eye, or in a dream, it is being 'seen' by Ajña. It is a bridge that links gurus with disciples, allowing mind communication to occur between two people. The sense organ and action organ associated with Ajña is the mind.
    Bindu — The “midpoint between the eyebrows” (两眉之间的中间点) and is one of the most important concentration points in yoga. The point limit between the unmanifest and the manifest; the entire universe consisting of the movable and the immovable is of the nature of Bindu (dot) and Nāda (sound). Bindu is Shakti (Power) and Nāda is Shiva.

The energy of all Nādīs flows together here, just as the water of a thousand rivers comes together in the sea; the point limit between the unmanifest and the manifest.

    👆以上对各大脉轮的功能、特点、以及疗愈手印👆做了一个简要的介绍。一般来说,“智慧手印” (Gyana Mudra)、“普拉那手印” (Prana Mudra)、“禅定手印” (Dhyana Mudra) 这三大手印通用于所有脉轮的冥想练习,也可以根据需要运用上面介绍的其他手印。冥想练习的一般顺序是:从下至上,从较低的脉轮(根轮)开始,逐个脉轮练习,直到最高的“顶轮”。每个脉轮的练习时间最好不少于 10分钟,对于想要重点疗愈的脉轮,时间可以加倍。冥想练习的一般方法是:不断念诵该脉轮的“种子音”,同时运用相应的手印。最好找一个比较安静的环境来进行冥想练习,练习时可以放一点轻柔的、不会令人分心的背景音乐。
    除了上述常规的冥想练习方法以外,现在市面上出现了很多所谓的“脉轮音疗音乐”,不妨也可以尝试一下。但值得注意的是,这些音乐鱼龙混杂、良莠不齐,有没有效果也很难说;况且个体差异很大,同样的音乐不一定适用于所有人,这需要练习者去不断尝试,找到适合自己的那一款。👇下面推荐几组此类音乐👇,仅供参考。
